I was recently invited by the Loft, here in Fayetteville NC, to host a special event at their store. Before I go any further, can I just say that God is so cool! I love how he opens doors even when you weren’t expecting it.
For the event, I get to hang out and style their customers this Saturday (February, 22, 2020 from 1:30 – 3:30) and if you know me, then you know that’s right up my alley! I love customer service and meeting new people.
FUN FACT: This is kind of like a full circle moment for me. I use to work at a clothing store in the same mall when I was a teenager!
After meeting the incredible manager and ladies who work there, I thought it would be fun to do a little try before the event!
If you’re local, my goal for this post, is to inspire you by sharing some style options that may help you when you come out and shop with us.
I am also excited that I get to share this with all of my Wildfire friends and family right here on the blog, so I’ve added online shopping options below so no one has to miss out!
One last thing before we dive into some of my finds. Loft is having some online sales right now, so if you aren’t local but like something you see, now is a great time to snag them before they switch over to their spring and summer line.
If you come on Saturday and mention that you know me, or found out about the event through one of my social media platforms, they will give you an additional discount on anything you purchase! So Saturday is your day to get those signature pieces at a great price!
As I’ve gotten more experienced, I have learned to move away from purchasing so many of the trendy pieces, and started buying more of the classic pieces, that are timeless and can be used in many ways.
You’ll see a lot of those pieces in this try on.
Although a Kimono is kind of a trend piece, it’s versatile and truly does create a timeless look.
The same Kimono can be used to dress up a pair of jeans or leggings and still be just as flattering used as a summer cover up.
And a fun tip not shown here…
If you have a really cute wrap dress, you can wear it, opened like you see here, and it looks very similar. I usually put the dress on and then hide the ties by tying them loosely behind my back and on the inside of my dress.
The point is, get creative with what you already have as well.
Throw it over a solid tank with jeans, pair it with a dressy top and trousers or even a fun skirt and it takes your outfit to that next level. You’ll always look classy in a blazer so you really can’t go wrong adding these to your closet. Which is why I had to take the pink and olive one home with me.
Here are two more ways to style a blazer with a few other must have classic pieces.
The Trouser pant and a wide leg ankle pant.
The longer trouser will always be in style and the ankle pant always comes back around so you can’t go wrong.
For these pieces, find a quality pair that fits you well and invest. You’ll definitely get your money’s worth out of these signature styles.
There you have it, simple, sweet and timeless.
As always, I hope this post was helpful.

I would also love your support as I branch out with my new Amazon Store Front! I get a lot of questions about things I post and I want to make it easier for you to snag the things you like, so I have already added some my favorite Amazon styles, home decor, favorite beauty products and a few other things you’ve seen me post. I even have a few items that are on my own wish list in there so please take a moment to follow me there as well.
Thank you so much for the love & support as we grow!
