I’ve thought of a million ways to start this blog post but all I can say is, you’ve got to see this!
This living room is proof that you don’t have to do a complete renovation in order to transform your home.
Let me show you what I mean!
During our first consultation, my client rolled her eyes in frustration, pointed at her fireplace and said, “I don’t know what you can do to this thing but I absolutely hate it!”
Now look at the before and after.
This fireplace was outdated and hated! Now it’s the beautiful focal point it was meant to be.
If the step by step of how we transformed this fireplace would be helpful, let me know in the comment section below. For the cliff notes, checkout this reel I shared on our Instagram and if you aren’t following us there be sure to click like and follow so you can see all of our projects and tips.
Now let’s move to the wall you see as soon as you walk into our clients living room. This was another pain point for our client. She didn’t love this piece of furniture but needed a place to store family photo albums and to sit her candles on.
Since this space is also close to her front door and that entry is smaller, we decided to add a console table for her candles and keys. For the family photo albums, they are tucked away in one of the baskets! Can you guess which one?
Over all our client wanted a more minimal approach to her design. She didn’t like how dark the room felt and wanted a light and airy feeling in her space.
To achieve that, we started with a fresh canvas, painting her walls white using Alabaster by Sherwin Williams in a matte finish.
The trim was the same color but in a satin finish and we also tinted the flat ceiling paint the same shade, which helps to create a seem less look.
Our next reveal is coming this week! So be sure you subscribe to our email list, so you’ll get the FIRST sneak peek!
