Vacation is the best. Packing for vacation…not so much!
If you’ve ever left a toothbrush or had that nagging feeling that you left something behind when leaving for a trip, then this is for you! No more “Home Alone” moments, these list will help put your mind at ease so you can do what matters most, enjoy your family and relax.
After years of travel and moving with a big family, I realized a simple checklist makes a huge difference when it comes to packing for a trip. My goal is to help you simplify your own packing so you can focus on the fun stuff!
Since many of us will not be able to fly due to the Corona Virus and restrictions, the first list has all of your Lake Trip Essentials. Our family loves going to the lake and we pretty much have packing down to a science so we hope you will enjoy this list as much as we do!
If you don’t have a trip planned. I hope this will inspire you to take some time away from your normal routine. After months in, it’s important to break up the routine and destress. Sometimes a day trip or vacation makes a huge difference and friend, you deserve it! You only live once, so get out there!
No excuses either…Trips don’t have to be long or cost a lot of money. Look for State parks ands lakes near you. Many State parks have beautiful trails, lakes and even cabins or camping spots you can rent at a very low rate.
Just click here to find a State Park near you to find all the information you will need to plan your visit!
The list below provides all the basics you will need for a “NON FLIGHT” Summer Trip inspired by the current travel restrictions and cancellations. Don’t worry though, I will add an additional list of documents you will need when flying too!
Last but not least, use the printout below to create your own personal packing list.
Make one for each person traveling with you. It can even become a fun activity to do with your kids. It will get them excited about your trip and help them have that personal responsibility for packing and checking their list.
